Lavender Grow this dense,
bushy sub-shrub for its

and summer. Once established,
it’s a pretty tough plant and
extremely drought tolerant.

Dusty Miller This stunner
grows to a height of 60cm
and the silver foliage is the
ideal colour contrast to garden
greens. It’s also fairly drought
tolerant once established.
Scaevola Don’t be fooled
by scaevola’s pretty little
flowers - it’s a hardy and
compact groundcover. The
mauve-blue flowers appear
from late spring to early
winter. It grows to 20cm high
and spreads up to 1
m wide.

the natural colour and
texture of the gravel, and
also cover the edge of your

flowering groundcover,
gorgeous calibrachoa grows
to a height of about 20cm
and has a spreading habit
of up to about 70cm.

The blue-green
leaves of chalksticks offer
lovely colour contrast to
the earth-coloured gravel.
It grows to about 30cm tall.

Sedum
‘Autumn Joy’ This
hardy succulent is low
maintenance. The star-shaped
flowers are light green in
summer, then change to pink,
before turning cherry red in
autumn. It grows to
60cm
tall.

Kalanchoe These
succulents produce tiny
clusters of blooms from
summer to autumn. They
come in a range of colours,
including red, orange,
